Congratulations to Bill & Joyce Meyers on being named 2006 SIMA members of the year.  Bill & Joyce Meyers joined the SIMA in 1979. They have a Tahoe Turquoise 66 GT convertible that Bill bought before they joined SIMA.  A few years later Bill bought Joyce a matching 66 Tahoe Turquoise convertible.  They immediately set about joining in SIMA activities.  They were recognized as leaders in bringing new activities to SIMA as well as attending and leading club events. In Bill's second year in SIMA he was elected Treasurer and has held that position many times.  Bill & Joyce were awarded the prestigious SIMA Member of the Year Award at the 1986 Annual Meeting and Bill was elected SIMA President for 1987.  Bill & Joyce served as SIMA Newsletter editors for 1988 & 1989.  Bill returned to be club Treasurer in 1990.  Bill received SIMA's "Outstanding Service Award" in 1996.  Bill & Joyce have headed up numerous Spring and Fall tours during their 29 year membership in SIMA.   Congratulations, Bill & Joyce............!!!!!!!!!!!!!
